Chess marathon tournament

I would do it once a year. Hype is what's going to make or break this; if the next one isn't hyped, the first marathon will be the second to last.

Maybe each chess marathon could be differ, like a Bullet or SuperBlitz. It could rotate for each season, like winter is Bullet, spring is Blitz, summer is SuperBlitz, and autumn is developer's choice. Just trying to keep things interesting. Classical anyone? ;)

Quite a shame as I was ready to stay up for the whole 24 hours. Now it is over my sleep cycle is exceedingly messed up.

However, there are bigger concerns for lichess at the moment, so let's just wait until demanding things.

Idea directly stoled from IRC, we need a "7/6 never forget" trophy / sticker for the people who eagerly wanted their chance to win for a trophy.
