Carlsen-Karjakin World Championship 2016 Game 6.

Another boring draw. This is the shortest, the most boring WCC game ever. Looks like the rules must be changed, making the classical portion of the world championship match 12 DECISIVE games.

In addition if Carlsen and Karjakin draw, make them play another game right away. Keep them going until there is a decisive game result.

This should reduce the number of draws.
This is how crazyhouse was invented. Someone really hated exchanges.
Game 3 and 4 the game took more then 6 hours. Do you want them to play another game after 6 hours?
They make lots of money by playing chess. They are very good players and can easily play for 24 hours without making any mistakes.
You have no idea what you're talking about. If you found yesterday's game boring simply because it was a draw, then chess isn't the game for you
The game costs $15 to watch. For game 6, draw was agreed on move 32. It's not fair.
@phlegm If Conor Mcgregor was playing, chess would be nothing more than entertainment... and there would be no title defense. :-)
Hello, @Tangelo777 and Lichess mates;

I do not agree with you when you say this World Chess Championship is being boring. On the other hand, we can see how -maybe- Magnus Carlsen cannot defeat a player with 68 less point than the challenger, Sergey Karjakin. Why is it interesting?

1. Magnus Carlsen is not a divinity, so it is interesting to underline that his Elo advantage does not mean anything Karjakin on those game we watched.
2. Karjakin is considered as one of the best defenders in chess, so we have to understand Karjakin's style.
3. If you say this match is boring is because you did not follow with an alert age the other championships.
4. Some games of the WCC were boring, yes, but others were very exciting, especially when we could see how well defended Karjakin in lost positions.
5. When you are watching the game, just turn off the engine. It is very easy to watch games with the engine, it is boring too. Turn off it and start to analyze by yourself.
6. A date: the match happened between T. Petrosian and Boris Spassky started also with 6 draws and in the 7th game, Spassky -with blacks- managed to win. The first match for the WCC between Karpov and Korchnoi started with 7 seven draws. On the 8th game, Karpov managed to win.

So mate, do not care, sooner or later you will have the excitement you want.
