Carlsen-Karjakin Game 8

I party like. More than a game people like. And those lot more like a game machine.

"Would you play bullet vs Nakamura, and when he wins ''hardly'' in the ratio about 100:2 (probably +-1), would you like someone to post that on the forum and use it as a joker card in random chess discussion? "

Well, you do not know anything about me; secondly: Did you know a 2658 standard GM is better than Hikaru Nakamura in blitz?

Did you know also that there are many strong players and GMs that do not like to show theirselves in commercial chess webpages like Chess.com is -and it is also the house of Hikaru Nakamura for all the money chess.com's staff paid to him-.

Who really wants to see #9 in the world as World Champion?
@Swarje: Well, to be fair, if that's how you feel, then why have the World Championship? Just have tournaments and a ranking list (I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad idea; that's how tennis does it, for example).

In any competition where there's a game or series of games to decide an eventual winner, you may have the objectively not-quite-as-good team/player win.

That's the sporting aspect of it. If the better player always won, there'd be little point in having the event. Just crown the highest rated player WC.

I'm actually happy with the idea of Karjakin winning, if only for the fact that I'm not a huge fan of just 1 dominant entity in any competitive sphere; it just gets a bit boring.

It's all subjective preferences, of course, and that's just mine :)
