Patron renewal

I made one-time support payment on the June 3 and got notification that to keep Patron status I have to renew it on July 10, but instead I made second payment on July 5 (assuming that it is already ok to do so), but as result Patron status disappeared on July 10. I think this is a bug, and my Patron status must be renewed starting from July 5. Otherwise please clarify why the way I did doesn't work. Thank you
