Puzzle Racer : Skip does not work

I love puzzle racer. Sometimes it does not start. When i skip then it hangs. ( It skips only a half move)

The skip is supposed to only skip one move. It doesn't skip a whole puzzle.

Yes, but sometimes I can't do anything with the mouse . It hangs.

It seems, skip does not work, if the first half move is a check.

It hangs if the skip leads to a mate in 1.

I guess the Skip button skipped you from skipping it ;)
