The lichess anti-cheat system is capable to counter this ?

> Yeah. And don't worry if the 1550-1700 elo userbase is completely infected by cheaters. An other 20 years being confronted with it, and you'll play like stockfish and stop complaining. Am i the one with a problem or cheaters are ?

You seem to be the one with a problem here (though cheaters obviously have their own et of problems)! I play a ton in the rating range you mentioned and there have been very few games where I've suspected I was facing a cheater, and even fewer where an opponent was actually banned for it (both here and on chess.com). Most of the time when I've thought I was facing a cheater it turned out that I was just playing badly, and they were playing a little less badly.

I feel attacked because each time you replied to my posts, you demonstrated you were *far far far* away from the problems the userbase with my elo are confronted everyday playing lichess. I do understand I don't have the big picture in the matter of cheat, but the opacity around it isn't pedagocical at all. So please don't sweep away what seems to be legitimate questions...

Yeah but you're not getting the point Cedur.

The point is that Lichess' primary objective as a chess platform is to inform people about its anti-cheat system.
It's that easy, it's even written in the about section: Lichess: free anti-cheat for everyone, forever.

You can make fun of it as much as you want, i still think it's a fair concern.

> Apparently, you still don't seize your attitude doesn't help, so let me explain in words even a labrador would understand : I am not a pro like you, I am not a 2000 elo player like you, sufficient and superior like you, I'm just a player who wants to improve his chess. Not a great one but I would like to believe I'm not so shabby nor pathetic. I've found in Lichess a chess platform that seemed to take fair players seriously. For that I was thankful and financed a little something, like numerous others, to make sure it lasts. The thing is, even if I am aware that my openings are not so great, that I could play much better if I concentrate a little, I found out recently that there is *A LOT* of games i played that seemed to be unfair, with Kasparov-like moves from my opponents i still do not understand. I may often blunders, but I reasonably think that players with the same Elo are doing the same, and that I have my chances. You may blame my little intelligence but when I found out that it's terribly simple to find a program capable to cheat everyone, I was just terrified and brang back everything into question. With your understanding of the situation and your capabilities, if you're not capable to help a fellow player and to reassure the Lichess userbase, i don't know what you are useful for.

Wow, there is zero need to jump to being this rude after one response. I was going to answer your question but I'll read other threads now instead.
Btw, a simple youtube video could do the task and demonstrate the efficacity of the anti-cheat system in the most common cases (engine used in another window, engine used on another computer, sandbagging, etc...), without unveiling how it operates or revealing any secrets. At least, it's reassuring for the fair userbase, and at best it's a clear warning sent to the potential cheaters. But what do i know ?

You may think i'm rude, but when someone is sweeping away fair concerns without making any effort to explain, i'll take it as rude also.
