Help for blind players - improve speech

Hi! A friend of mine is blind, but he likes to play chess and he is trying to play on lichess. He does not understand english, could be a way to translate the speech audio of the moves to other languages? In this way, he could hear the moves played by his opponent, move it in his physical board at home and input his moves with the keyboard back.

I did use the search before posting this, but did not find anything about this topic (only this back from 2014: lichess.org/blog/U5AX_DcAADkAz-L5/accessibility-for-blind-players )

@spab Definitely something to look into, I’m pretty sure Lichess has nothing like that. If you know how to code, maybe make a chrome extension that does that? Doesn’t seem too difficult, but who knows.

My idea of coding is very low/nothing, so i just was wandering if this was possible, because it seems to me would be adding some audio clips and not much else. Right now he plays using whatsapp audio with real people from home, meaning he send his move by audio and move it in his board and receive the move by audio too back. Kind of hard, but is something with the virus having closed a lot of tournaments
