Kings gambit blitz arena

In this tournament if you look at the start position in any of the games the tournament name becomes amusing. Next time it might be named "a king's gambit that can be accepted if you feel like it arena" instead.

The opening classification is corrected (assuming previously it was wrong):
C30 King's Gambit Declined: Classical Variation

so future tournaments should be named correctly.

OK, looking on the side at the classification, C30 King's Gambit Declined: Classical Variation, I guess thats right, I hadn't seen it before, but look at the tournament name at the top of the tournament above the trophies. It says "King's Gambit Accepted Blitz Arena". Thats how it was listed in the open tournaments to join too.

Again not a big deal, I kind of like being dumped into a game with a position I'm uncomfortable and unfamaliar with. It builds character. ;) Cheers!

Right, it's my belief that tournaments are named based on the opening names, therefore the tournament's incorrect naming is probably (although I cannot confirm) a function of the opening name being incorrect.

I too am curious whether my theory is accurate (did someone recently fix the opening name?) although if this problem happens again we'll know that my theory is wrong...
