Possibly the most interesting checkmate ever.

Interesting mate, but the castling bit is just for show really; 31... Ke7 would have done the job just as well!

There's a game in which Morphy beats his father by castling, and here this is the only mate in 1 possible. Note that the evaluation starts with -4.9 because Morphy always gave his father a starting advantage of one figure; it's also interesting that this leads Stockfish to pronounce 1.e4 as being a blunder!

Why would you waste time and energy by moving 2 different pieces instead of the much simpler 31...Ke7# ? Very suspicious...
