I have really good solution,
If You(lichess.org)suspect that people cheat, don't ban chessengines, only in one case(Correspondence Classical),
Let them to play with chessprograms-
Project-BATTLE OF ENGINES,
I know that one of lichess philosophy is game without programs but.....
here I have good solution for this problem,
One of lichess variant can be-BATTLE OF ENGINES,
What do You think about this project?
Check out this: http://www.ficgs.com/

This site not only allows using engines in correspondence but encourages it.

Here is and excerpt from the rules http://www.ficgs.com/membership.html :

"All games are played in 40 days + 40 days / 10 moves. As a reminder, the use of chess engines (Rybka, Fritz, Shredder...) is allowed and encouraged in standard chess tournaments."

It also has big chess played on a 16x16 board ( very interesting ), poker and go.

For curiosity its developer is also called Thibault. ( Thibault de Vassal. )
You could do that, but the truth is that 99% of players will never, ever overrule an engine, especially as they get stronger. Those that do overrule the engine's judgement are probably not skilled enough to seriously argue with an engine's results. You might as well play vs the AI at that point.
"You could do that, but the truth is that 99% of players will never, ever overrule an engine, especially as they get stronger."

Exactly, this is what inevitably happens. It culminates in a contest between computer resources and calculation periods.
I beg to differ. There are cases when the crux of the position is at great depth and the engine cannot grasp it. I can point out a position which is present in the Rybka 4 book as winning for black, also when you analyze it with the engine it says black is better, but white has a very deep move which is simply crushing and is a forced win. If you look it up in the human games database it seems that humans aware of this trap. Engines not.

Humans may be better in selecting structures in which engines go wrong. I have seen games at ficgs.com ( where engine use is encouraged ) where players lost positions with exchange up, valued at +1.2, because the position was simply flawed at depth that engines cannot reach.

Playing kentaur chess is a game of its own right and is more than just mechanically copying engine moves.

By the way at ficgs.com the champion was someone who had very reasonable knowledge of the game ( rated 2250 Fide ). So it is not true that you can become a kentaur chess champion by simply having a good engine.
My opinion is simple about this topic: Chess is a human game, we should not ruin it with computers.
By the way, according to the FAQ you can use an Engine in CASUAL games only:

"2. Can I use an engine in casual games (or against stockfish/the puzzles/opening training)?
Yes. You may, however, let your opponent know you're using one. You can use an engine against stockfish if you please; games against the computer are never rated. Similarly, using an engine to solve a puzzle (or help you in the opening training) is not against the rules and you will not be marked as a cheater. But, should you use an engine for the training puzzles/openings, you'll only be cheating yourself."
That's only way to play correspondence in my opinion (use engines). There are to many ways to cheat otherwise, and that cheating is hard to prove. I like the idea. Also check out www.iccf.com which is official coresspondence chess platforom. It let's you play with engines
Let's try to get this straight:
According to the ICCF Rules you can use Endgame Tablebases to claim a win or draw if the position can be resolved in a 6 men tablebase position, in order to speed up the forced results, not to permit engine assistance.

But at the same time games shall be played in accordance with the FIDE Laws of Chess (During play the players are forbidden to make use of any notes, sources of information or advice, or analyse on another chessboard), except as otherwise defined in these rules or other ICCF rules.

Note:
Endgame tablebases are computer databases of chess endings with precise calculations for optimal play in any position, provided the number of pieces on the board does nor exceed a certain limit (6 men tablebase means 6 or less pieces left on the board) Simply put, the program determines if the position leads to a draw or can be won by either side - with 100% certainty
Why not create a specific team for anybody who's interested in Centaur Chess? You all could also simply join the already existing 'Correspondence' club, and organize a new tournament where your own rules would apply.
